Thank you letter for “Harry Potter At Home”

Note: J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World, in collaboration with various publishing partners, created the ‘Harry Potter at Home’ project in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to provide a free online resource for Harry Potter fans, particularly those staying at home due to lockdowns and social distancing measures. To the families who participated by reading for the videos, J.K. Rowling sent this letter (with a facsimile signature) and a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone with a signed bookplate.

I would like to say a very large thank you for your wonderful contribution to the Harry Potter readings, which went a long way to providing some entertainment for children, families and carers, whilst confined at home during lockdown.

Everyone here on the Harry Potter At Home team really appreciates you giving your time and effort, which made the recordings so special and memorable.

The response has been incredible. I’m delighted to say the readings have been enjoyed over 30 million times worldwide and have inspired a whole new generation of readers!
